ABOUT
Megumi Mizutani is a Pokémon designer first and a card illustrator second — she has been designing creatures for the core games since Generation V.
Her designs include Mienshao, Pancham, Mimikyu, Hisuian Growlithe and Arcanine, Tandemaus and Maushold, and the Tinkatink line. She has also designed human characters — Professor Burnet, Lana, Victor and Gloria, and the gym leaders Katy, Brassius, Iono and Tulip — and worked on 2-D dot graphics and trainer art across several generations.
Her first card was Pansage, in Next Destinies. Outside Pokémon she contributed character design to Trinity Trigger (2022), and she was a conceptual character artist on the Black & White anime.
