ABOUT
5ban Graphics is not a person — it is a small design studio inside Creatures Inc., the company that develops the Pokémon TCG. It is the most prolific credit in the entire game, which is why it tops any list of card counts.
The studio specialises in 3D CG artwork, which is why its cards look unlike the painted and drawn work around them. Its output is concentrated in Trainer cards and full-art treatments, running from the Black & White era through XY, Sun & Moon, Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet.
The name is a quiet in-joke: it refers to Creatures' former address at 10 Gobancho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.
Unlike the individual illustrators on this site, the identities of the artists working within 5ban Graphics are largely undocumented. The credit names a studio, and the people behind it have not been published — so there is no personal biography to give here, and inventing one would be worse than saying so.
